How to report an error

Use the contact form and include the page and what's wrong. Corrections from people with first-hand knowledge of the subject are especially welcome and are taken seriously.

What happens next

• We check the claim against sources, usually within a few days.
• A factual error is corrected at the source rather than argued with.
• Where a correction changes the substance of a page, we note it on the page and update the "last updated" date.
• If we can't verify a claim either way, we say that on the page instead of choosing a side.
